Snorkeling

Snorkeling Grand TurkWant to see the famous Grand Turk Wall, without all the scuba gear? Experience Grand Turk snorkeling with Blue Water Divers! Our Grand Turk snorkeling tour requires a minimum of four participants and we take a maximum of 14 snorkelers on any single trip. All snorkel trips go to two sites, are two and a half hours in duration, and include snorkel gear. The first site is in shallower water (depths of less than 10 feet) which allows snorkelers to see the reef and marine life up close. The second snorkel site is chosen from one of the over 40 sites along the famous Grand Turk “wall” in the marine park. The wall is actually a coral reef drop-off that begins in depths of 25-30 feet and plunges to depths of over 7,000 feet! All participants should know how to swim and feel comfortable in water. If you have never snorkeled before, that is not a problem! Your boat captain is also a trained PADI instructor and would be happy to give you some pointers.

It is very important to remember that snorkeling is an outdoor sport and a physical activity which can be strenuous at times. In order to participate in snorkeling, a person must maintain a reasonable level of health and fitness. Please note that our equipment has a weight limit of 250 pounds per person.
